Calm in a storm
The blustery Nor' Wester continues to pitch and toss everything around the garden.
An early morning foray to the post office to beat the crowds, followed by a pootle around the garden; securing the tomato plants and runner beans. It's pretty much crazy out there. The washing is dry almost as soon as it's put out and dust seems permeate every nook and cranny.
In addition to the dust, wind and incessant warmth (sorry Northern Hesmispherites), the roadworks continue to shake the house and it's inhabitants. Fortunately, tomorrow is supposed to be their last day. The trembling foundations and infernal racket are starting to get a bit tired after 9 days of it!
B is home this evening from his Bollywood adventure. Some of the outfits sounded interesting. Shame he doesn't have a blipfoto account so he could show us!
Cleaning and tidying have taken up a large portion of my day.
Then, I guess , when it's a bit cooler I'll take Cousteau for his daily constitutional.
This wee daisy type thing looked lovely this morning in the soft light. I love these colours too.
Bye-dee-bye.
