Bleak

Went out to see the lunar eclipse but clouds in the northern part of the sky meant all we got was a reddish hue- and it was noticeable, even through the cloud, but nothing like the event I was hoping to experience. I took my ten year old with me as he was the only one up and ready. Funnily enough the last eclipse I saw was the solar eclipse in Cornwall and he was in my tummy at the time. 

We wandered back home through the snow and chilly morning air, to the south the sun was coming up and this solitary pylon grabbed my attention dominating the barren landscape.
