Lunar eclipse eve

I can't resist the moon. I know I've blipped it before but I fancied twiddling about with it. I love popping out the back to just gaze at the star filled sky, but tonight it was a quick 30 second glance- FREEZING!!

Tomorrow morning is the first total lunar eclipse falling on the winter solstice for almost four centuries. My first and last eclipse was the total eclipse of the sun in 1999 and this will be my first total eclipse of the moon- if I can wrench myself out of bed in time- and more importantly if it continues to remain a cloudless sky.
