Matai Falls

We started today with a walk (in the rain) in to Matai and Horseshoe Falls. Of course it stopped raining about the time we got back to the car.

We went on to Fortrose for lunch, then were off down to Bluff, checking out the sign post at Stirling point and the great sculpture there of the chain that anchors New Zealand to the sea bed (check out Kiwilizzie's blip of that). Now we can both claim to have been from Cape Reinga to Bluff - though on different journeys and at different times.
