This is my brother and our dog Scribble. I'm surprised she recognised me after being away for 3 and a half months but apparently she did...
I had a nice day in Edinburgh, I met a couple of friends and went to another friend's house for dinner with my family. It's so nice to be able to understand what people are saying all the time, and to be able to talk to strangers without starting with "Sorry, do you speak English?" (To which the answer in Sweden is always "Of course!" with a surprised expression that I'd ever doubt that they did)
I also took my first Lothian Bus since leaving, I don't know why but I thought for some reason I might have forgotten how to take the bus, so I turned up super early and triple checked that I had the right amount of change. I don't know why, Lothian Buses are awesome.
