Really a 4am wake up call wasn't welcome and playing 'let it snow' over the tanoy didn't help.

Now rebooked on a flight on the 21st. It took us 3 hours to go the hour journey back to B's.

Futher details now that I'm not quite so tired.

After spending the night in the refugee camp that Heathrow became, we were woken by 'Let it Snow' being played over the tanoys. After standing in the queue for the toilet, I joined the queue of over 100 people to attempt to find out what was happening and when we would be flying. B went for a bit of a mission to attempt to find us some tea and possibliy some breakfast but having seen the queue at Costa she gave up. So we had starburst and ribena for breakfast. Our mum called us at 4.30am to see how we were and if we'd found out what was happening to with flights. The Bahrain ticket office opened at 5am uk time so she took our details so she could call them if needed. At 4.55am BAA updated there twitter feed with information that almost no flights would be leaving today. A quick call to Mum later and she managed to get in touch with Quatar airways in Bahrain and rebook us onto a flight on the 21st. At this point there were still no staff at the airport and no information being given to anyone on anything.

We left and after an epic trip (Bus, Train, Tube, Taxi, Train, Taxi) 3 hours later we made it the usual 1 hour trip back to B's.

After some breakfast and attempts to contact QA again we headed to bed to get some sleep. A few hours later we got up for some lunch continued calling QA (I eventually gave up at 6pm after 12 hours of calling).

The new plan is to stay here today, stay at Paddington tomorrow night and the hopefully leave on Tuesday night. We've booked a room at the hotel for Tuesday night just in case.

We both had a bit of a cry as we were tired and fed up but are feeling a bit better now.
