Agave Against The Sky

This are just 3 of the 25+ 'leaves' of the Octopus Agave (Agave vilmoriniana). One of my favorite yard plants. When they bloom, about 10-12 years from now, the bloom stock will be maybe 20 feet tall. Absolutely beautiful. It lasts for about 4 months, then the whole plant dies. Sad but true.
