Uncharacteristic
For the last few years, I haven't really done Christmas. Not because I'm bah-humbuggy about, it's just that I haven't really bothered. That's why this shot of Symi's clocktower with its 'tree of lights' around it is so uncharacteristic, I don't 'do' Christmas decorations. However, I've always loved how this looks from a distance but this was the first time I'd bothered to go up close and frankly, I was a little disappointed. As I am with this picture. It goes to show, once again that I need better equipment and a lot of lessons, to get the shots I want. Here's hoping for a Christmas miracle........
I'd like to thank my friend Mike for helping me with this snap. From now on he will always be known by me as Mike the Tripod. No, that's not a euphamism!! I used his shoulder as a tripod......
