Spinnaker Tower.

Finished work early today as I couldn't be bothered working past lunchtime. Well, it is Friday after all. Decided to pop into town to get a couple of last minute presents to hand over to Santa for next weeks deliveries. To be honest, I wish I hadn't bothered.

I managed to buy the things I wanted to with no hassle at all. I was looking for that something extra to finish off, but all the shops were just full of tack - the kind of thing you buy your aunty when you cant think of anything better, or maybe that desperate Secret Santa present for someone you dont really know.

I decided in the end to save what little cash I had left and put it to better use. Wandered back up to the car, which I had cunningly parked on the highest level of the car park - just incase I fancied a wee blip. This is, of course, the Spinnaker Tower. If anyones in Portsmouth over New Year, rumour has it you can have a champagne reception high up on the tower. I can think of somewhere I would rather be. But then I am up there for Christmas - weather permitting.

Now to matters more pressing - what to do this weekend... Maybe an impromptu snowball fight, if the forecast is true to form. Watch this space!!
