More about the means

I came across a double film holder - something else that should have gone to the great camera sale - and since the pinhole camera was out and there were sheets of film in the fridge I thought I'd give it a go. The holders take two sheets of 5x4 inch film back to back. Getting the film in the holders without a darkroom was tricky - changing bags aren't really meant for that.

I developed the film in an ordinary film tank, inserting the sheets back to back round the central column of the tank and just hoped that they wouldn't end up slipping together, covering the emulsion of at least one of them. It's pretty wasteful of chemicals since it uses 1ltr of developer for just two sheets of film.

Anyway, this is the shed, with Ewan's catapult hanging off the door. Looks pretty good. Tomorrow I'll take it a bit further than the patio. I can see this needing the purchase of some more fllm holders and a proper developing tank, if I can find one.
