Freezing today - they could be right you know, more snow may be coming. Oh I do hope not.

Queensferry today, not the best of days for anyone. A fraught night means fraught and disgruntled parents this morning. All attempts to lighten the day were thwarted. Some days just get you like that I suppose.

I managed to get an agreement on lunch and a bowl of Heinz tomato soup with Knorr chicken noodle mixed in is always a bonus for me. Dad eventually cracked a joke just before I was leaving as I was attending to his bleeding toe. He fell down stairs last night. No great disaster just a little carpet burn to his big toe! Not even a bruise. There's got to be a joke in that somewhere.

I left them both snoozing while watching the Sherlock Holmes movie.

To blow the day away I returned to the harbour and loved the light and shade this shot gives. A beautiful reflection of a day to forget.

Think it will be time for a dance round the table before tea tonight - but what tune?
