Salmon for dinner?

Yay. Holidays have begun.

We got as far as Timaru today. Stopped for a late lunch in Rakaia and had a chat to this salmon. I like the way the sign is gradually becoming hidden by the plants.

We've had everything weather-wise - sunshine, cloud, rain and some very black stuff that indicated thunder though inside the car we heard none. Beautiful once we got to Timaru though. Had a wee rest - a year of teacher and DP'ing is tiring you know! Then went out to "Benny's Again" for dinner - highly recommend it. Great food.

Off to the Catlins tomorrow - with intended stops at Moeraki and the cheese factory in Oamaru. More good food - I can see this holiday being lethal to the scales.
