The Tale Of The Curious Fox.
A close encounter of the vulpine kind to begin the day.
Early this morning on arriving at the workplace, I spied a fox padding around the quadrangle, in amongst the parked cars. It became obvious however that the creature seemed to be somewhat lame in a back leg, and he was sniffing all arrow-shaped around the grounds - perhaps he was somehow lost?
After a few minutes of standing still my patience paid off and this bushy-tailed young red fox walked up to a point not a metre from me and there we were, face to muzzle. I was able to take a few rushed photographs, yet despite having to use the flash and being initially startled, this sleak, fleet beast trotted off taking his close human encounter in his stride.
