Sundog at sunset viewed at the end of Melville Steet looking toward St. Mary's Cathedral. After glimpsing this bright phenomena briefly along Shandwick Place as I blasted home on the bike, I was determined not to miss the opportunity of capturing such a remarkable sight.

I wove through the back streets of the West End to find a good view - and here it is.
