Bad Annoying news: - Oh please.

This 'humanitarian' visit to Haiti on the arm of a religious zealot is nothing but a calculated, yet transparent, political move. Does this woman think we're as stupid as she is? Yes, Ms. Palin, you've traveled to Haiti and some other countries, so what? Does this now qualify you to interact with world leaders regarding big issues should, heaven forbid and lightning strike us all dead, you some day become president?

Good-but-I-question-part-of-it-news: - Monster or damaged mind?

No doubt that what this man did to a fourteen year old goes beyond deplorable. For their sake and the sake of the now young woman, the closure she feels, I feel a profound sense of relief. How anyone can look at this man though, look in his eyes and argue that he's not clinically insane is beyond me. I often have heated discussions about whether someone like him is simply evil or if he is damaged, not truly in charge of his own faculties. Either way, it's a sad story.
