Seek and ye shall find!
Invited to Fiona's for brunch this morning. John did some DIY there.....putting up a lovely new hall mirror and hooks in cupboards. Also , very importantly, a sign on the wall indicating Fiona's new flat number as her mail was being delivered to the wrong flat!
When we came home we decided to venture into the wood with our icegrips on our walking boots and take Rona for a long walk. It was extremely icy and risky so we decided instead to walk down the side of the field. At the beginning of December I took a nice shot of Rona there in deep snow and on returning home discovered I had lost my house keys. Years ago on TV I heard someone saying you should say a prayer to St Anthony along the lines of' St Anthony, St Anthony, return to me that which is mine'. Since then I always say it to myself when I lose something.
John and I decided to search the corner of the field where I thought I had lost my keys. No luck! On the way back we kept looking and I spotted them just lying in the snow. Thank you St Anthony!I have just Googled St Anthony and discovered he is Patron Saint of lost items and missing persons!
