rotten apples

back blipping due to no internet connection yesterday - thanks for the comments on my last few blips that I've just been able to read!

we have one set of apple trees that we never pick the apples from - because they're disgusting - but the trees are perfect for climbing and for hanging a hammock between, so they can stay. In the winter the apples look like this. Tasty eh?

Talking about wrinkles - Mr. Spitzi got EVEN OLDER yesterday! He doesn't like birthdays (I told you that on Friday) but yesterday was pretty good - he got a lie in, was woken up to children singing happy birthday, got given all his presents and then got left alone to do his thing all day (sitting in front of a computer, writing...like always). Later I magicked up a four course meal of favourites - plus a bottle of champagne to celebrate my exam success and a nice bottle of cuvee for the birthday getting pissedness. We had the new woodburner alight for the first time and that was super-nice.
