"Ben work"

Ben is obsessed with "work". He sees daddy go off to work every morning, and he yells "daddy 'ome!" whenever the gate bangs or something drops through the letterbox or the doorbell rings. He bangs things with spoons or whatever he has to hand, and says that "Ben work!" Daddy, when he's at home, like today, is still working. Today it's tiling the bathroom and Ben would love to help. Not really a job Ben can help with though so Ben has gone to bed for a bit. He can help me later, we're going to make some more Christmas biscuits. Not really a going-out kind of day, Steve and I are both tired and in need of early nights and lots of cuddles. A lot of things can be fixed with a bucketful of cuddles.
