We got mail!!

In these adverse weather conditions it is amazing what simple things give us pleasure........ mail (have not had any deliveries for 8 days). Bread on the supermarket shelves...many empty ones in the past few days. A bus coming along after no service recently. A full tank in the car when there is a shortage of fuel. Gritters and snowploughs!....and dare I say a THAW!!!!

However the best thing for us was being able to get down to see Ali and Isla today. Phil managed back to work so it was great to keep them company for a wee while .
