Bad Irritating-on-so-many-levels news: - Why does it have to be your way or no way?

People who are bit over the top with their religions (whatever they may be) have a habit of trying to convert all those around them, so it seems natural that atheists would try to do the same.

Religion has it's heart embedded in actual, historical figures but both its legs firmly planted in myth and mystery, every civilization adding, embellishing. So what if Santa Claus has his origins in Byzantine times and German paganism. So what if that was brought to the US and blown entirely out of proportion. So what if Christians may have fudged the actual day that Jesus was born just to suit their purpose.

Why not just let everyone do whatever the hell makes them happy.

Good bit of news: - Can it be true?

If the 1987 International Protocol that was drawn up in Montreal and designed to phase out the use of ozone-depleting substances such as chlorofluorocarbons and other manmade halogen compounds is working, that would be really good news.
