Step into Christmas...

...our street still snowed-in, so it was a long trudge to the supermarket this morning. However, it was a good thing - got all the ingredients for the Christmas cake, which is currently baking and filling the house with perfect festive smells.* That, along with the Sarah McLachlan Winter album playing means, in our household, Christmas has officially started!

Still adoring that winter sun and its shadows - beautiful.


*Yep,I know I'm about three weeks too late with it...it might end up a New Year cake instead!
