Mad Dogs and Englishmen

Working from home today, Eco daughter still off school. Managed to get loads done and will finish it off tonight.

Took Juno out for a midday walk, we met very few people, only a couple of dogs. Amazing how much untouched snow about, Juno and I tried to leave our mark on as many patches as possible.

Got me thinking is it because the roads are bad and everyone is dependant on cars to get to sldeging spots hence the lack of activity.

Stunning walk in the white silence, the only colors on the white carpet being leaves blowing lightly in the wind. The sloes on the hillside were bowing to us with the burden of snow, humbled from their 12 foot height.

The burn ran a dark line through the winter landscape.

Back home with a very tired dog and cleared the pavement and the elderly neighbours paths. Threw snowballs at the icicles forming on the roof.

Eco mum out at her work night out, so quiet house.
