God I really found it hard to concentrate on work, found all sorts of other reasons to avoid it but in the end I just got on with it. Collected #2 daughters car which passed its MOT no bother at all a wee polo.
Went down the town to get stockpile on animal food but the lorry was stuck in Central Scot somewhere. Stupid papers inducing panic and you cant get near a petrol station and you would think a plague of locusts had hit the Co op and the local trashco.!

Now there are no trains running to add to the misery! (not that any come here any hows as the ancient tyrant the Duke of Argyll wouldnt let the railways come to this neck of the woods, what a bad descision that turned out to be)

Im sick of turning the TV on and hearing about the bloody snow, you watch Euronews and see Scandanavian traffic flowing along like it was a summers day, the Swiss dont grind to a halt indeed the oppsite, when I was in Romania years back there was feet of snow but all the roads were clear. You see some idiot spokeperson from Councils say "oh it caught us on the hop" one twat was busy boasting how much money Edinburg airport had spent on snow blowers, snow gobblers, snow balls, baked Alaskas then the reporter says "why is the airport shut?" oh says stupid "it came to early" Honestly this makes us look the most stupid nation on the planet.

Todays picture is of a fantastic wee shop in Lochgilphead called the Square Peg. Its what every village or small town shop should be, they have a fantastic range of all sorts of stuff and their Christmas window is always a pleasure to look at. Well worth a visit if you are ever up this neck of the woods.

Decided against going to Glasgow this weekend as I suspect there will be black ice and frost and dare I say it maybe even snow! so I am going to hunt out some snowy pictures before it all melts next year!
