This day

By snapper

Brrrrr its cold out there!

This cold snap is taking its toll on the animals, all the wee chookie birds are fighting with eachother for food and have decided they like the cake Iput out for them. The only blot is a huge big balck crow that swoops down on the wee chookie birds and bullies them , pecks them then beats them up so I have now found a solution..... a water gun! hee hee it fires up to a distance of 25 feet, my only problem is trying to creep up on the two buggers. I am getting better and soon I will be a real stealth machine and hopefully they two will learn to leave the wee chookies alone!
The rabbits dont seem to mind the weather but the Guine piggies havnt put their noses out the box in over a week. They are nice and snug with lots of warm hay and plenty of fresh food and water and I checked to see if they felt wasrm tonight and they were like wee hot water bottles snuggled up to eachother so I blipped them.
Sam the wee Patterdale is having difficulty walking on the path due to we hacks in his paws and the salt on the paths goes in and almost cripples him so today I had a brainwave, I phoned hubby who is in Glasgow and told him to go to a new dog shop in Anniesland and buy doggy boots. You would have thought I had asked him to go on an Artic expedition! He phoned twice asking directions, then phoned again to see if I had the number of the shop, I didnt even have the name far less the number and by this time I was getting exasperated!
Anyhow all play to him, he found the shop and bought two pairs, (should that be two two pairs!) anyhows he got Freda lab a set and Sam a set. Abbie seems ok so far. I almost died when he said they were pink but it was a wind up!

Will blip them when they arrive with them on Sat.

Have a salt free blip evening all
