4 tons of snow in the garden
Day 5 in big snowfall household and the housemates are beginning to go stir crazy. Dan Kowalski still sporting his moustache as he has not had the time to shave it off has his job cut out trying to keep fires going, children fed with warm winter food to combat the bitter cold and boy, it is getting very cold.
There are very different types of snow, the water like grey stuff, well actually it is not really wet, there is the compact walkable stuff, the hardened mega mounds created by 4x4s, the untouched glistening, all too familiar now.
Our poor birdbox is nearly vanishing, keeping an eye out for some sign of inhabitants, hopefully some news this weekend.
Time for a glass of whisky after a very long day. Just changed this photo as I was as frustrated with the lack of time to take a decent photo, as I was with the previous tree shot, lovely tree though, so instead, my favourite things #4 Laphroaig and a seat by the fire.
