We are fighting a losing battle

It was a struggle to get children up and ready for a potential drudge through the white frozen mass we call Edinburgh these days. Thankfully, we saw friends and hopped, well shuffled behind about 70 people in the queue in front of us, onto the bus. The way back from school through the hospital was unbelievable, saw one minor crash, everyone was ok, but another car stranded.

It really is a no win situation for the guys working round the clock trying to keep the roads clean. Currently as soon as they are just about finished, they have to start again.

Got a fire going, boy does this make a difference. One other thing is that we are wondering how to continue for the next wee while sans voiture. For heaven's sake, the Forth Road bridge was even closed due to the snow. Incidentally the bird box, is dwarfed even more by the snow.

So snow, beautiful, dangerous, annoying, frustrating, time consuming, fun, and now a means of communication. Oh and it slipped me past totally, 1st December and I didn't even get the chance to shave off this ridiculous moustache.
