Snow (Im)Mobile

Funny how Britain seems to grind to a halt with the slightest dusting of snow. How do other countries cope while we fall apart?

Out for another wander today following some pretty heavy snowfall this morning. Was very pretty and actually a bit less cold than yesterday - the snow was melting as fast as it was falling almost.

Took loads of pics but it was one of those days where nothing quite came out as I'd have liked. Then when we were almost back home I got both of these shots almost in the same place.

The first was a guy in a Range Rover passing a gritter lorry. He'd been driving around Stockbridge all morning - obviously enjoying playing with his toy in the snow! The second group could probably have used a Range Rover - struggling to get their Audi up a fairly low grade hill. Surprised the Range Rover guy didn't offer them a tow - he could have been a real hero...
