Early Christmas

Woke up to snow this morning and together with the holly and berries, there was a very Christmassy feel.

I went to the gym and combined a session on the cross-trainer with watching the Springboks making heavy weather of beating England at Twickenham. The Scots seemed to be doing the same against against Samoa - just squeaking a winning penalty at the last moment.

I was home in time to watch the All Blacks play Wales and although the Welsh lads made it hard for the opposition at times, I just felt that the Kiwis were able to step up a gear and make clinical finishes. They are great to watch although Dan Carter left his kicking boots in the dressing room in the first half. The world cup should be interesting.
