Tom

My brother-in-law's brother (not quite sure what relation that makes him to me) is visiting Glasgow this weekend with his son Mark. He lives in Luxembourg and I haven't seen him for eight years - the time flies by.

Together with my sister and her husband, we had a lovely meal in a local restaurant and were reminiscing about Glasgow in the 1970's, shipbuilding, politics and the press, the effing banks, the fact that we used to be able to drink vast quantities of alcohol before having to find a loo and the advantages of having a Glasgow accent when in confrontational situations.

Tom's a great guy, well read and a gifted musician (as is Mark).
