Angel

I had real intentions of not doing a snow blip today. In my head I imagined it like that scene in Wings Of Desire where Nick Cave comes to the mic saying to himself "I'm not going to tell you about a girl", then says exactly that, I even went as far as going into the park opposite where I live with a pack of post-it notes in my pocket and a concept in my head to do this kind of thing. But end in the end it all seemed too contrived and I've ended up simply photographing what we did this afternoon, a lovely time sledging and making snow angels. I've still got that original concept, but sometimes the simplest, unforced reaction is the best choice perhaps.

And finally, on a slight tangent but kind of linked , there's an amusing snow angel scene in that recent Joaquin Phoenix movie I'm Still Here although considerably more expletive-filled than ours was.
