Skate Shift

Had a day off today to make up for all the weekend work. Went for a wander in town, which was bracing to say the least! Been meaning to try a tilt/shoft shot for ages and this view of the ice rink in Princes Street Gardens seemed a good spot to give it a try.

I'm reasonably happy with it although I'd probably have preferred a landscape shot, but the picture was a bit "busy" when I tried that.

Any good tilt-shift tips fellow blippers?

Snow they say tonight and I can believe it, feels like snow in the air. Maybe a white blip tomorrow!

P.S. Update - to answer a few questions - not done with a t/s lens. Normal shot processed in Photoshop using this tutorial
