The last flag

This was the last flag raised by British Army at Curragh Camp, Co Kildare, it was retained by the Irish Army after handover in 1922.

You can see it at the new Military Museum at the Curragh Camp; given the events of the last few weeks here in Ireland and the disasterous situation we have brought upon ourselves ( a majority of Irish people did vote this government in 3 times), it seemed an appropriate blip.

Having said that we worked our way out of the last recession without any help from the Banks (I started a business in '96 and the banks were very difficult), or the Government (they just stayed out of the way), so we have the confidence now of knowing we can do so again.
