Happy Thanksgiving

Woke up to more snow this AM - had a lovely walk with Willy - it was so nice to walk on fresh snow, with not a soul in sight. And turns out Willy just LOVES playing in the snow.

Headed down to PDX for Thanksgiving weekend - we were going to have dinner at Jake's for a Thanksgiving buffet, but when we got there, it was scary. A huge lineup just to 'check in' to our reservations...and we were so disgusted that we decided to take off.

Had some beers at Henry's - I had a lovely porter (Caldera pilot rock porter) from Ashland, OR and Dogfish head Imperial IPA.

Got a last minute reso at Wildwood - and had a roasted nantes carrot/beet salad with feta, cilantro and almonds, roasted pumpkin & fatalii pepper soup, and a wild mushroom and slow roasted broccoli lasagna with crispy sunchokes. Tasty, but not mind blowing. Maybe the buffet would have been better????

Went back to our hotel and had a nice relaxing evening (in one of the most comfortable beds ever).
