Snow Again
It was snowing when we woke up and it continued until early afternoon, depositing several inches on streets that were almost bare yesterday. The temperature crept a few degrees above freezing for the first time since last Friday, and it looks as if we might see the end of this white stuff soon.
It's been a very quiet Thanksgiving Day. We had a short visit this afternoon by one of our neighbors who'd never had sherry before, but clearly enjoyed it. I took Miss Annie for a late walk, and on the way home watched the energetic young neighbors up the hill removing snow from large areas of the street. They were enjoying it so much that I thought it unwise to suggest that the snow might melt and clear itself very soon.
C is busy preparing our roast lamb dinner while I'm writing this and enjoying a Monks Cafe Flemish Red Ale. That's the only kind of multi-tasking I'm capable of. I have much to to be thankful for today, and every day.
