Plymouth Sound.
Working away in Plymouth this week. It seems strange standing up here taking this photograph. During my navy days, I was usually anchored down in the Sound on an evening during sea training. Now I am up in the early morning to test vapour recovery units at petrol distribution sites.
I finished work at 4pm and checked in at the hotel just before sunset. Normally I ring home and catch up with all the gossip. Realising that I might just catch a sunset, I hot footed it over to the Hoe and caught this scene. The temperature was starting to drop, so it was promptly back to teh hotel for a warm cup of tea and a chat with Emsie on the phone.
