OMG this is awful

So after a weekend of being looked after by the rents dad dropped me back at my flat to let me get ready for preparing the back to work effort. However all the roads in and around my house were completely shut off for the switching on of the christmas tree lights! I must say it annoyed me that I had to be dropped a bit away and I had to walk the rest of the way, only to get to my street and be thrown dirty looks. People thought I was trying to steal their viewing spot, when actually I was trying to get into my flat.

To top it off I went to blip what all the fuss was about and it was just white lights on a tree with a bent top and not even a star on top!!!! WTF, is this for religious/political correctness....cos if it is why is there a tree and lights all over the town centre to celebrate CHRIST-MAS! ??? anyway for those who chose not to come out for this planned event that I stumbled upon, you missed nothing, I glad I didnt make any effort but had the luck of living where I do.

I sound misreble which I'm far from as XMAS is my fave time ever but its just I don't like things done by halves! what makes it worse is they even erected a stage and had a radio station down. there was even horse and cart and an open top bus in the parade, but the tree was just an awful disappointment.
