Stop eyeing up my cake Mummy

Funny. But he was being rewarded for eating all his spaghetti bolognese. This was an event I had begun to accept would never happen again. This week he had decided that he could survive perfectly well on yoghurt, banana and grapes ... and of course cake, if he was lucky enough to get a sniff of any.

So today was a success.

No.1 son is easier to bribe. He understands the concept of eating all his bolognese before he gets cake. I had a nice picture of him as well, which I though summed up the 3 year old psyche. He is always so desperate to make choices for himself and to be stubborn (that could be genetic rather than age based!) So today when he was finishing his pasta and I had already put his grapes on the table he poured the grapes into the pasta and stubbornly ate them both together and tried to look pleased with himself.
