how did that happen?

My 'baby' will start school next year - how can that be?

In my mind I still smell her newborn head and hear her tiny cat like cries. I still feel her little fingers as they grip one of mine and her rosebud lips searching for milk. I see her tentative, wobbling steps and hear her joy in saying "mama, mama, mama'.

She is becoming ready for this next stage of her life but am I?
