A Bit of the White Stuff

So for once the weather man got it right and tonight we have had snow. Not a lot - a dusting, which will no doubt be gone by the morning. If its not - I will be most displeased :)

Here on the coast we tend not to get the snow quite as badly as our friends further inland or even further up the coast but if it belts in on an easterly on already cold ground then it can be quite heavy at times. And while the main roads are usually passable, its the last mile that causes problems for getting out and about. Anywhere not on a bus route will be left uncleared and ungritted until the council remember that we also pay taxes!

So a quick blip of the first flurry of snow of the winter :)
