Lagan

Lunchtime today found me down at Shaw's Bridge on the banks of the River Lagan looking for my Blip. This recently built boathouse has been designed sympathetically to compliment the nearby old Shaw's Bridge, rather then the more recent version on which the four lanes of traffic thunder by.

It looks to me as though they haven't used enough varnish or the proper varnish on the doors as they seem to be soaking through already.

The green and white bar hanging above the river is to help canoeists navigate that stretch of the river.
