Rule of threes

I commute to work by bicycle.

Do this for long enough and you start to notice patterns, in the weather, in the behaviour of traffic (which starts to become one large metal organism), in the change of seasons, and in the way the light changes just before sunrise and sunset.

Another thing is punctures, they come in threes. I had my second one in less than a week this morning. Having become a well prepared cyclist through painful experience I had a spare inner tube so no biggie, changed it out and off I went again.

I'm looking forward to getting the third puncture out of the way in the next few days, before the winter sets in.

I should then be good for a year and a half or so. Happy days.
