Electric Lights

Today we walked through town just before they lit the xmas lights in glasgow. It was a crisp, cold, dry early winter's day and I was struck by how many people had begun xmas shopping.

We were hungry and went for a spot of lunch/dinner.

I originally intended to take b&w shots of the furniture/art pieces by Tim Stead in the cafe and come home and blah blah blah here all about his work with recovered wood and the primitivism of it all etc etc etc.

I did take some photos of his pieces, one of a clock and one of the candle lighting the grain on the wood of the table we sat at.

They were nice, but my favourite shot of the day was a black and white shot of Una, cropped close in, her arm and face with the light playing in her eyes, her smile...

This is a reflection of that light.
