Unexpected --

This Gerbera was a feature of my second ever blip on Easter Monday , a gift from a friend on the return of my son from Afghanistan.

It spent the summer outside and flowered brilliantly.
Now back inside I noticed that one of the wilting flowers had a mass of seed heads which were starting to drop onto the table. I don't think I've ever seen this before with this flower. Maybe it is a death throw!

Any way it still has another bloom and after 7 months I cannot complain.
