Beatles, Plus One!

These are the guys that have sung the music of my life!

At first I clicked a side angle hoping to eliminate some of the glare. Mr. Fun told me I'd get a better photo right in front. Then he said, "Let me get in the picture with them." I was so surprised. He doesn't usually want to be in my blip and sometimes has asked, "Why did you use the one with me in it?"

Mr. Fun has been singing to me for 45-plus years, and so have John, Paul, George, and Ringo! Even though Mr. Fun's music will never be found in iTunes and he doesn't play a keyboard, drums, or guitar, he does sing. He sings to me . . . and I love when he does!

We had an early morning appointment/lesson at the Apple Computer Store in Victoria Gardens. We hurried to get out of the house and we knew we weren't going to see anyone we knew, so we went looking rather scruffy!

Even though we were both dressed crummy -- our shirts hanging out and looking a little rough on the edges (can you see my rough edges in the reflection?) -- I'm still going to use this photo because years ago four of these guys wrote and sang a song that became our song -- "Eight Days a Week." We still love their music. We still love each other. We're still making music together -- we're singing in the background behind these guys whenever we get a chance.

Thank you for the birthday wishes that are still being left on my page. I love birthdays! Today I was going to blip more of my birthday cards and I still will (tomorrow, maybe), but I wasn't going to miss the chance to post my favorite singers -- all five of them!

Today is my sister's birthday. Last year I wrote about her. I know her life has influenced mine. I invite you to read what I wrote 12 months ago.

Tonight we're home. It's our castle! and the weather-man says, "Rain, wind, and snow are coming our way!" I doubt that we'll get snow. The weekend is here. I have lots of student papers to grade -- let it snow!
