MacKenzie Lupins

We had lunch by Lake Pukaki the wind was still blowing, had intended to fish along the canal but it was closed to motorists because of the wind.
That meant we couldn't buy a fish either, drat!!

We drove on and parked in the Mackenzie area, the lupins are not fully out yet but still looked amazing.

A very low billowing cloud came rolling in from the South East which dropped the temperature even more we began to woner what it was going to be like back in Timaru, hoping it had rained whike we were away.
