Dans la Foret
This blip reminds me of a painter. Is it Magritte? A faint ghostly figure barely discernible amongst the trees. Someone who painted with sparing detail, whose images challenge the eye and challenge the viewer to question what he or she sees. Or think they see. Although now as I say it, isn't that the task of artists? I love images that play, that ask us to look again. Second sight. Causing new awareness. Teaching us about perception.
On the road again and I am taken by the forest image covering the inside walls of the elevator of my hotel. It is minus 20 degrees celsius tonight and snowing!!! Definitely not an outside blip day.
