Pure Magic !!!
After a rainy night and with L at her Saturday Market I was left to my own devices. Then the sun came out and although breezy it turned into a lovely morning. So out with Kwakker, she fired up first time (GOOOOOD GIRL !!) and we were off and away. It was still a bit fresh , so no silly cornering, as the tyres won't get up to temperature in this weather. Only went about 40 miles, but it was soooo good. On the return I went over one of my favourite stretches of Road, ex NATO , so in excellent condition and nearly deserted now. It is a long left and right curve followed by a mile long straight, waffle in second, check all is clear, then open wide, the sound as she wound up to 9,000 is fantastic, up thru the gears, 70 mph reached in 3rd in about 3 secs, hold her in 4th, at 9 K that is just on the Ton and as the curve ends up into 5th and feel her kick as the power goes on. Elbows in, head ducked under the screen, exhillerating for 30 seconds then roll off the throttle and concentrate on normal roads and traffic.Would love to do it on a proper Sports Machine. Back home park the Bike with a silly grin on my face, it is still there now as I remember.......
