Cakes at coffee time

There is an office routine that many of the staff take coffee together at 10:30 each morning. It's a chance to catch up with people and share news. If someone is celebrating a birthday or similar they bring in cakes for colleagues and an email might go round to let those who don't take a break at 10:30 to let them know that there is something sweet to nibble. I generally don't take a break then because I'm usually covering the phones but it's still good to pop in and see who is about; perhaps people I don't see from week to week because of our working patterns. Today was a cake sale for a local charity so here you'll see a couple of trays of Danish pastries with home-made cakes in the background. No idea how much they raised but I felt it only proper to liberate a Danish for 50p.
