Meringue moments

This weekend I was a cab service to the train station for my mum who went off to the big smoke to see my sister and to go to some exhibitions etc. I was very jealous of her lunch plans which were to visit Ottolenghi (which is the most wonderful place in Angel, London that has windows full of bowls of the most amazing looking salads, vegetables, pastries and cakes and so much more). I was very excited that tonight when I collected my mum she paid my cab fare in blackcurrant meringues from Ottolenghi. They looked beautiful and tasted pretty scrummy too. I would be a cab driver again.
