Pineapple Upside-Down French Toast

A series of random happenings culminated into this light & sweet breakfast today. I came home last night thinking about French toast brought on by some conversation over coffee. Lo and behold, my eyes fell on the loaf of French sourdough that was tossed aside due to the weekend's whoopie pie project.

With a hot mug of Wolfgang Puck's Hawaiian Hazelnut in hand, this breakfast makes for a perfect pairing on this cold & drizzly November.
